Darren Martin Real Estate

About Darren Martin

For me, Grey County real estate is personal. This is where my wife and I live, work, farm, and raise our family—and that everyday connection shapes how I guide every client.

Rooted in West Grey

Local knowledge, lived every day

I was born outside Elmira and grew up working on dairy, beef cattle, and hog operations. Those early years taught me the value of hard work, clear communication, and doing what you say you will do.

Before moving into real estate, I spent many years with Metzger Veterinary Clinic, meeting people across Ontario and learning that trust is earned by listening, giving straight answers, and following through.

Today, our family is rooted in West Grey, between Durham and Hanover. Away from showings and negotiations, you will usually find us farming, caring for our Black Angus cow-calf herd, or working with our horses.

A grounded approach

Real estate guidance shaped by the community

Living and farming here gives me a practical understanding of our small towns, rural roads, farmland, and the people who make these communities home.

I help buyers and sellers across West Grey, North Wellington, Grey, Bruce, and surrounding areas. Whether you are buying your first home, moving to a rural property, selling a family farm, or preparing for your next chapter, I bring local perspective and a steady, organized approach to the process.

Local perspective

I live, work, farm, and raise my family in the same region I serve. That means advice grounded in day-to-day local knowledge.

Practical guidance

You can expect clear communication, honest answers, and useful options—without unnecessary pressure.

Personal service

Every move has a story behind it. I take the time to understand yours and stay involved from the first conversation to closing day.
